The day we flew home was on Derek's birthday. Kind of a bummer for him. The next day we did some celebrating. I made him a German chocolate cake and we had a free stay at a hotel in downtown Houston that we used for the occasion. We had a great time, but next year I'm determined to make his his Birthday a real hit...not just another day in a plane somewhere. We didn't even take any pictures. Sad. I'm so disappointed in myself!
