HOPPY EASTER!

While Derek's parents were in town we went to a sporting good store where he and his dad found a sweet deal on a camping water filter. His dad already had one, but Derek didn't and he really wanted one. Yesterday I got Tosha to go and pick one up for Derek's Easter surprise. I had already gotten the basket and treats on my lunch breaks this week, but I needed an extra something so it worked out perfectly. Last night we went to Tosha's and she "took some trash out" and put it in the trunk of our car. We were very sneaky. When we had already gotten in bed I remembered I had left my wallet in the car so I went and got it and grabbed the present out of the trunk. We went to sleep, then early this morning I very quietly went and got the filter and put it on our dresser with his basket. He didn't hear a thing. Then when he woke up he had a very happy easter surprise!! Isn't he cute. He loved it. I LOVE surprises! The best part was last night he was talking about getting a filter and I was like "no, I just don't think we need one right now." We almost got in a fight about it, but I had to stop egging him on because I almost couldn't keep from laughing. It was hilarious! Happy Easter!
