For Labor Day we took a nice little jaunt over to Florida to see Tara and her cute family. We went to the beach which was beautiful. Florida beaches have fine white sand that squeeks when you shove your heels into it. Derek and Mike explored the ocean floor and D had a friendly encounter with a jelly fish. Luckily he was the only one. In addition to going to the beach we fed large pigs, played a lot of ping pong, and relaxed a lot. Tara even ordered an extra cable package for the month so Derek could watch the BYU game. He was very grateful. We had a way good time! Cooper LOVED Derek and didn't leave his side the whole weekend. The Spencer house is the best! On the way home (we left on Labor Day - Monday) at around 2pm and got stuck in holiday bumper-to-bumper traffic for over 3 hours. We didn't get home till midnight or later. Good thing interstate 10 was so scenic. It was a great trip! The end.
